It's September which means it is time to get Halloween crafts started right?!? I think so!
I created this ghost garland with mostly just items I had sitting around the house and a few items from the dollar store...overall it probably cost me about $5 and took maybe an hour because I got interrupted by a toddler several times! :)

Ghost Supplies:
*I had all of these things on hand and didn't need to buy any. But I have linked all items for you to shop just in case.
-Cardboard box: I used two boxes from Mila's snacks. It's just the right size and thickness.
-Marble contact paper: I had this leftover contact paper sitting around from another project. Click here to shop
-Scissors: I love these fabric scissors I got on Amazon they cut through everything.
-Pen: To trace the ghosts

Step 1
Open up the boxes.
I freehanded the initial ghost shapes by looking at a cartoon ghost picture on my computer.
Once I had the right shapes I used those ghosts to cut out the rest.
I ended up fitting a total of 5 ghosts out of the two boxes.

Step 2
Put ghosts cardboard side down on contact paper and cut around the shape.

Next group of supplies;
-Googly eyes (dollar store)
-Foam glitter balls (dollar store)
-Gorilla glue
-White thread
-Sewing needle

Step 3
Glue eyes on to the ghosts.

Step 4
Lay out all ghosts and foam balls in the pattern you want.
Then use needle and thread to string on the ghosts and through the foam balls.
It is the easiest and cleanest way to do it.

Step 5
Hang garland, I used clear packing tape onto our mantle.

*Bonus Boo Garland*
I made a quick and easy "BOO" sign by following the two easy steps below.
Materials;
-Gold letter stickers
-White thread
-Sewing needle
Step 1
Take the stickers off the sheet and use the needle string onto thread in the order you want.

Step 2
Hang at desired height, I liked the look of it in front of and higher than the ghosts.
I also added some black and white string on the sides for fun.

Happy crafting friends! xx, Taylor
