A fun and super simple ornament DIY! I absolutely love how this turned out and totally get Anthropologie style vibes...this one literally cost me less than $3.

Supplies:
-Felt Ornament: I got mine in store at Hobby Lobby, but both options below are under $1
-Scissors
-Yarn
-Hot Glue Gun
I found this M ornament in the Hobby Lobby sale section for $0.19 and knew I needed it. Not sure at the moment what I would do with it then this ornament idea came to mind.
I picked up a fun colorful yarn and made it my evening craft project.
How To:
1) Hot glue the start of your yarn to the bottom of the ornament. I started at the base of the M leaving some felt showing...knowing I would come back at the end to fill it in.

2) Just continue to wrap the yarn (no glue necessary) tightly up until the point that you cannot do a straight across wrap anymore. Leaving the areas where you can not make a continuous straight wrap.
3) Go back to the "challenging areas" and use hot glue to guide and hold the string in place as you wrap around. (Tip: Use the glue to make clean edges/corners with the yarn). Wrap all the way to the top and glue off the end.
4) Create a tassel out of the yarn by wrapping it around your fingers at the desired length. Then bunch the top, tie a string tightly around it to create the tassel top. Cut tassel strings to your desired length then hot glue to the side of the ornament.

As easy as that! Mine is by no means perfectly clean so do not worry if the yarn is not sitting perfectly or if it is fraying...I think it gives it a cute bohemian style. :)
