I decided to create a platform for the blog called "Let’s Chat Local ” shining a light every Wednesday on some of the incredible businesses and owners within the Coachella Valley. I have realized especially during this time how important it is to recognize the people within in our community who are living out their dreams while providing us with the products and services we love!

A: Moon Mist

Q: How would you describe your business/what you do?

A: I would describe Moon Mist as an intentional business. Created to simplify your beauty routine. Each batch is created by hand using 100% organic herbs. Created to hydrate your skin before applying your daily moisturizer or Oil. It is truly a beautiful ritual creating each batch and then infusing each bottle with crystals to amplify the vibration of the water.

Q: How long have you had your business?

A: I started my business five months ago.

Q: What inspired you to start your business?

A: During Covid I lost my job. One morning as I was relaxing in the bath the idea of Moon Mist came to me and the rest is history!

Q: What would you say sets you and your business apart?

A:What set Moon Mist apart for other herbal toners is that the water that is used to create this beautiful toner sits out under the full moon each month collecting her potent energy. Each Moon falls under a different astrological sign and the sign that the Moon falls under play a big part in the energy that is captured in the water.

Q: Since COVID-19 set in what are the direct impacts you have felt? How have you pivoted?A: I really haven’t felt a direct impact as I stared this business during Covid. Its really amazing I can see that more people are trying to support local and small business during this time.

Q: What is your ultimate dream for your business?

A: As of now the ultimate dream would be growth, to expand into small retail stores all over California and to watch more people enjoy this Magical Herbal Toner.

A: I love The Body Deli, I found this company as soon as I moved to Palm Desert, my skin was getting really dry and I was looking for local handmade beauty care. I would highly recommend their products.
