While getting our house ready for the listing photos I realized I quickly needed some colorful art to fill up a blank corner...and I had about 24 hours to get it done!
That's when I found Unsplash.com a website dedicated to sharing stock photography under the Unsplash license...Unsplash allows photographers to upload photos to its website, which are then curated by a team of photo editors. Because of this, the photos are FREE and can be downloaded and used by individuals for any type of personal project. One of my favorite things about the site is that photographers can create their own page to share information about themselves where all of the work they have uploaded lives in one place. So if I really like someones style I can click on their name and browse more of their work to find just the perfect pictures for my project.
Below I have listed my process for creating this super cute and colorful wall art in my bathroom.

Step 1. I searched for "Palm Springs" photos on Unsplash.com . I knew I wanted something local with bright colors and palm trees. You can search for colors, quotes, things, places etc. they have a massive database of gorgeous art.
Step 2. Found the photos I wanted and dowloaded them.

Step 3. Ordered prints (I chose size 8x10) through the Walgreens photography department, I did the 2hr print service because I needed them quick.
Step 4. Ordered frames for same day pick up from Target. These frames to be exact.
Step 5. I hung them on the wall with the command strip velcro pieces.
And Voila, super fun art for an otherwise bland space in my house.
